This meeting is convened between the Regional Inshore Fisheries Groups of Scotland and the Association of Inshore Fisheries & Conservation Authorities of England, with contributions and support from the Sustainable Inshore Fisheries Trust (SIFT). Representatives from the Scottish Government’s Marine Directorate and the Blue Marine Foundation will also be in attendance. The primary objective is to facilitate the exchange of information pertaining to the respective organisations, to examine their operational models, and to identify both the similarities and differences between them. This will be undertaken with a view to fostering enhanced cross-boundary understanding and cooperation.

The RIFG and AIFCA thank The Fishmongers’ Company for funding this meeting.

A meeting of the SW Regional Inshore Fisheries Group will be held at The Creebridge Hotel, Newton Stewart at 18:00 on the 30th October.
